Hello, I’m Gwenyth Kirkwood — a college student, a human being, and someone who knows firsthand that life can feel like a lot. On this site we are going to focus on mental health and wellness. This space is meant for you to feel safe.
A space where you can feel seen and understood. A space where it is okay for you to acknowledge that you are struggling or even just feeling worn out. I am going to be focusing on having real open and honest conversations, discussing my own personal experiences, and all while recognizing that life can be challenging at times.
Because let’s be honest almost everyone, if not everyone, struggles with something in their lives, and everyone can use a little push. Parents, College Students, Student athletes, all need that little reminder that of “you got this” and “you can do hard things.”
I want to make one thing clear, I am not a professional. I have no credentials as a psychologist, therapist, or anything else. I am just simply passing on my own experiences as well as those of those around me. What I want to do is support, and remind you that it is okay to not be okay.
I will be blunt and truthful which can sometimes be humorous. Humor can make things feel less heavy and healing doesn’t always have to be heavy. Life isn’t always easy and that is just reality but a little motivation can go a long way and make a big difference.
My overall goal is to keep people going whether you are struggling, thriving, or fall in the middle. You matter and I want to figure this out together! 𖤓
